I'm Hasan Alizada, an enterprise and solution architect. I have been in IT since 2008, working in telecom, banking, payments and national-scale systems.

Now

I work at Visa as a Senior Client Consulting Manager in Visa Consulting & Analytics. I lead implementation projects for banks in CEMEA end-to-end, from concept and architecture to delivery, building solutions from scratch with a cross-functional team.

Before

Azerbaijan Railways, Enterprise Architect (2023–2025). I took part in implementing the company's digital transformation strategy and in the re-architecture of the existing nationwide passenger mobile app.
Kapital Bank, Chapter Lead of Backend Development (2022–2023). I led a team of 12 backend engineers and worked on the architecture, backend development and delivery of BirBank modules (Cashback, Statements) and TaxRefund (ƏDVGeriAl).
Kapital Bank, Chapter Lead of System Development (2016–2022). I led a team of 10 developers for card processing (Compass Plus TranzWare CMS / TWO) and was the tech lead of MüştəriBank (now BirBank Business).
2008–2016. Various technical positions at Azerfon, British American Tobacco and Bank Standard.

Certifications and education

TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, PMP and ITIL Foundation. I studied Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics at Baku State University.
